Elemental Abilities (Japanese: ???) are a gameplay element in Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 3 - The Sleeping Princess and the Karakuri Mansion. All monsters have an ability imparted upon them which varies based on their level. The way to know if you're on a dragon orb floor is to look for the icon in the top right corner of the screen. Dragon orbs are a great way to bless Items, get more of an item (Herbs), and simply to strengthen your equipment. The way dragon orbs work is you offer up a piece of equipment and wait for turns to pass. The orbs warp around the dungeon after a certain number of turns. By reading Dragon Orb Scrolls, you can increase the number of dragon orbs to a max of 8. There are 9 different types of dragon orbs and they share the same elements as the monsters found throughout the game.
