Forecast (Japanese: てんきや) is an ability in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team.

It changes the Ability user's Type depending on the Weather.

If there is any other weather (Clear, Cloudy, or Sandstorm), The Pokémon's typing is unaffected.

Castform (which has Forecast as its ability) under the effects of rain.

Castform is the only Pokémon that has this ability, however, it can also be acquired by other Pokémon through the ability Trace.

Forecast can also be activated during cutscenes with dialogue that are programmed to change the weather. An example of this can be when you fight Articuno after finishing the main story.
