Plain Seeds (Japanese: ただのタネ) are Seed in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. It made its debut in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team Game Boy Advance/Nintendo DS in 2005.

Eating them has no effect besides slightly filling the Pokémon's Belly. They may appear to be useless, but they actually have a variety of uses depending on the game. Plain Seeds are usually created by consuming a Reviver Seed after being Fainted. If the player attempts to steal from a Kecleon Shop in Red and Blue Rescue Team and is defeated, their remaining items will be turned into Plain Seeds.
