Moves (Japanese: わざ, move) in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team are special techniques used by Pokémon in battle. They range in effect such as lowering Stats, HP, curing Status Conditions and so on.

The Set Move of a Pokémon, indicated by a blue tick

Set moves are created when the player goes to the moves section, selects a move, and registers the "Select" option. By holding L then pressing A, the move will automatically activate.

Set Moves can be boosted when the Leader consumes a Ginseng, to a max of +99. Linked moves and moves that don't damage an opponent; such as status moves don't activate the boost from a Ginseng.
