Plain Seeds (Japanese: ただのタネ) are items, more specifically a type of Seed, in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Eating them has no effect besides slightly filling the Pokémon's belly. They may appear to be useless, but they actually have a variety of uses depending on the game. Plain Seeds are generally made by triggering a Reviver Seed, but they can also be obtained in other ways, such as by being defeated by Kecleon in Red & Blue Rescue Team.
The physical appearance of Plain Seeds was revealed in Rescue Team DX, thanks to the game having unique artwork for every item available in the game.
