The Mamul(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. monster family (Japanese: マムル系, Mamuru Kei) consists of:

  1. Mamul(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. (Japanese: マムル, Mamuru)
  2. Subterranean Mamul(NT) - This name may be officially used elsewhere, but this media hasn't been officially translated. (Japanese: あなぐらマムル, Anagura Mamuru)
  3. Cave Mamul(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. (Japanese: 洞窟マムル, Dōkutsu Mamuru)

The Mamul, likely the first monster players run into on their Shiren adventures. These monsters have a smooth spherical body, and a white widening tail, belly and cat ears. With a slightly agape mouth showing a pink or blue tongue and wide eyes. The color of the monster's back depends on the level, with sky blue for the Mamul, olive green for the Subterranean Mamul and red for the Cave Mamul.

Combat Strategy

A generally weak monster family with no special abilities to be cautious of. Mamuls and Subterranean Mamul's can easily be defeated even without any equipment. Cave Mamuls can pose more of a threat, with a higher attack (~255 damage with no Shield equipped) and surprisingly high defense, but this is to be expected of a level 3 monster. Nonetheless, it is best to have a strong shield to endure any unexpectedly high attacks.

Meat Strategy

With no special abilities, there is no specific benefit to consuming Mamul Family Monster Meat. Instead, low-level monster meat can be thrown to transform other monsters into a more easily defeated form, However, there is a chance that the Meat will miss, so it is best to do this at a distance and/or not to rely on it.
