Shiren (Japanese: シレン), accompanied by his sidekick Koppa (Japanese: コッパ), is the player character in Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer. His maximum level is 99, his max HP can be increased to 999, and the Strength stat can be increased to 99. Shiren can also hold up to 999,999 Gitan.
HP Recovery
Shiren's natural HP recovery rate is based off his max HP. His level does not affect his recovery rate. The formula is as follows:
The HP recovery rate is done in increments of three turns. For example, if your max HP was 500, plugging in the formula would get you:
Turn 1 = 3.33… (rounded up to 3 HP recovered, 3 total); turn 2 = 6.66… (rounded up to 3 HP recovered, 6 total); turn 3 = 9.99… (rounded up to 4 HP recovered, 10 total); etc.
In the example above, your HP recovery would follow the pattern of 3, 3, 4, 3, 3, 4 and so forth.
Level Up Stats
When Shiren levels up, his Max HP and Attack Power will increase.
Currently, the formula for Shiren's attack power is unknown. However, it incorporates his Strength, Sword Strength, and Level.
If you would like to help figure the formula out, there is a test/scratch area at the bottom of this page to help figure it out.
