In case anyone missed this, Atlus is publishing it in the US! They've posted some info about it on their forum:

To summarize:
1. It will probably be awesome
2. Atlus decided to exclude the online aspects of the game - no rescues, no versus mode, no leaderboards, etc.
3. It will probably be awesome.

The fact that the online aspects of the game were excluded, will make "Shiren DS 2" less likely to reach the US... Mostly because there are items only obtainable by connecting the DS game to the wii game.
