No, it isn't a new developed Shiren game. It's a PC game for windows 95/98 released in 1999, based in the first gameboy one, but with SNES graphics. The title of the gameboy one was 月影村の怪物 (the monster of the village of the moon) and was released in 1996. I found this game searching for the gameboy title, which is one of the few I haven't played.

The graphics are the same as the SNES version, but you can play the gameboy story (supposedly). But the best feature this game has is.... YOU CAN CREATE YOUR OWN FAY'S PUZZLES!! The only problem is that, the created floors won't be random as the rest of the game.

In the editor, you can create a room, enlarge it as much as you like, add corridors, decide where Shiren and the stairs will start, you can choose the items that can be found in the floor (even the bonuses of the weapons and shields!), select the monsters and the spawn location.... When you are ready, you can save and play it afterwards!

I wonder, if they did this in 1999, why didn't the developers put this editor in future games? Wouldn't be cool to create your own puzzles and share with other people in the world??

Anyways, if you want this game, just tell me. The editor is in japanese, but it's easy to use due to the pictures.
