Donjonker, I can scan images from the NPC's too, so if you want them I can send to you.
Sofu and the Borg Mamel can be taken into other dungeons, but you need to finish the main stories of both of them first.
About Zoso the robot, I put wrong information in the thread. You need to keep it alive a number of floors to level it up. Per example: if you do the first 5 floors of a dungeon and you use a escape scroll, the next time it will level up to level 2. But if it dies, you will have to pay another 500 gitans and start over.

Those images would be excellent, thanks. And I'll make the corrections.
Also - how exactly does Sofu's ability replacement work? I'm pretty sure I've maxed out his list, but when I add another it doesn't prompt me to replace one. Does it just junk the first one on the list?
I can't wait to get Sofu out of the Bufu Dungeon, by the way. Little guy kicks ass.

Only the Hell Dragon ability makes Sofu near unstoppable killing machine. Too bad that Gathers are inmune to all special attacks...
Here are the experience needed to level Pekeji and Oryu.
--- Pekeji ---
He has the biggest HP of this game, his attack is also powerful if he's leveled to the max. Only has 7 levels.
Level 1 -- HP 30.
Level 2 -- Exp 100 -- HP 40, Slightly higher attack and defense
Level 3 -- Exp 330 -- HP 60, Slightly higher attack and defense.
Level 4 -- Exp 660 -- HP 80, Slightly higher attack and defense.
Level 5 -- Exp 1.300 -- HP 100, Slightly higher attack and defense.
Level 6 -- Exp 3.300 -- HP 120, Slightly higher attack and defense.
Level 7 -- Exp 7.000 -- HP 140, Slightly higher attack and defense.
-- Oryu --
Not as powerful and with lower HP than Pekeji, but her special attack is more useful. She has 10 levels.
Level 1 -- HP 30.
Level 2 -- Exp 50 -- HP 35, Slightly higher attack and defense
Level 3 -- Exp 100 -- HP 40, Slightly higher attack and defense.
Level 4 -- Exp 250 -- HP 45, Slightly higher attack and defense.
Level 5 -- Exp 750 -- HP 50, Slightly higher attack and defense.
Level 6 -- Exp 1.500 -- HP 60, Slightly higher attack and defense.
Level 7 -- Exp 3.000 -- HP 70, Slightly higher attack and defense.
Level 8 -- Exp 5.000 -- HP 80, Slightly higher attack and defense.
Level 9 -- Exp 10.000 -- HP 90, Slightly higher attack and defense.
Level 10 -- Exp 15.000 -- HP 100, Slightly higher attack and defense.

Zenmaiger... wow I really screwed up the translation on that one. My Japanese skills are revealed to be completely rusted over. Zoso sounds much cooler, though (being the name of Led Zeppelin's best album and all...). I'm tempted to let my fictitious name stand instead of just calling him "Robot." :P
So what's the import of the number that they tell you after the robot's model? I.e. ゼンマイガー -10? Are there two level-up systems at work?
Edit: Sofu is also actually Nfu, I realize. But I'm strongly committed to Sofu. ;) - thanks for your kindness in not correcting me.

Ow! It seems my japanese is rusted too! It's true that Sofu is Nfu!! 7 months believing that... oh well... I must improve my japanese, I think :P.
The number at the right of the name means the number of times your robot died, so the owners created a new one (the number 11 Zenmaiger, per example).
And feel free to correct me, I prefer that instead of being a fool all my life :)

Woah wait a minute! Do all the party members (save the Borg Mamel) go back to level 1 when they die? I just noticed Pekeji go to level 2 again. If so, do they reset when Shiren dies as well?
This would be pretty brutal for leveling up Sofu...

Yeah... Party members return to level 1 when they exit the dungeon. If shiren dies and is rescued, I think they keep their levels, but if you restart the dungeon, they reset their levels.
Sofu doesn't level up fast, but from the 20~30th floor of dungeons, you start to get 1.500~2.000 experience from monsters, so don't worry... as long as Sofu survives, by the 30th floor he should be at the maximum level.

Ouch... well at least I know now before investing a lot of time into leveling them. I'll make sure to put that on the wiki.
By the by, I can't seem to find a jar of change for my Borg Mamel. Am I best off keeping to the Mamel Cave or using the main quest dungeons? - Can't remember if I ever saw any there.

There are Jars of change in the Mamel cave, but I think you can find them in the Jahanamu Gate too. By the way, I think you can level your Borg Mamel up to 69 before finishing that cave's plot, because to level up to 70 it needs an Anchor Trap, which isn't available in the first 30 floors of the mamel Cave (you can't bring in from other dungeons, they become broken traps).
