  • Items need to be sacrificed to Chiro jars.
  • no more sloth staff.
  • Enemies don't level up when they kill you.
  • Melding a wood shield adds rustproof.
  • Spike Bomb meat brings Shiren to half his HP if he blows up.
  • Pacorepkin meat seems to have a limited number of turns you can be in ghost form.
  • Putting items in jars and using an escape scroll in a shop will remove the entire jar from your inventory.
  • Using a jar of change in the warehouse always gives weeds. / Using a change jar in the Ancient Ruins floor 1 Fl seems to only give weeds as well. Janaham gate final floor as well.
  • Homing Blades are exclusive to rescue points? - Black Looper.
  • No more scroll of chains.
  • Arrows stack like Shiren 1. (Useless note, needs clarification).
  • Items with an intrinsic meld don't take up a slot when other items are melded to it.
  • Items traded seem to get sent to the special floor area of the warehouse.
  • Windshields don't get upgraded to a Stormward when offered to a Blacksmith. Inserting it into a jar of change in the Magistrates Lesser Court didn't work either.
  • Katana's don't get upgraded to a firebrand when offered to a blacksmith.
  • TEST: If you meld a Bufu Cleaver with Satori's Pickaxe, will it still break?

Magic Castle DS / Shiren 3 Wii

  • DS2 needed Wi-Fi to connect to Shiren 3.
  • You can use anybody's friend code who has earned enough rescue points to get prize items in DS2.
  • DS2 and 3 don't allow you to manage items in town like Shiren DS1 but you can manage them in a special location in the warehouse in DS2.
