Combat Strategy

This enemy runs away from the player, only trying to attack if cornered, or if it's afflicted by ailments that would prevent normal behavior (Blind, Seal...). It will attempt to reach another monster, doing everything in its power not to be adjacent to Shiren while maintaining contact with its ally : prioritise ranged attacks if you can't approach it.

When a monster is standing next to a Cheer-Ham type, it'll be granted extra attack power and given Enduring status (letting them survive a fatal blow once). Sealing works well enough, with Talismans being especially effective since they'll hit both the Cheer-Ham and its protégé(s).

It should be noted that Cheer-Hams themselves are rather fragile and don't attack under normal circumstances, so putting their buddy to sleep, for example, and dealing with the latter first might be better than wasting anything too strong on the Cheer-Ham.
