Draft:Torneko 1:Strength

Strength (Japanese: ちから) is a stat in  Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon tied to Torneko. The more Strength Torneko has, the more Damage he will deal to monsters.

Functions of Strength

Strength is a variable used by the game to calculate Torneko's Attack Power. The result is then used to evaluate the damage he can deal to monsters, taking into account their Defense Power. The higher Torneko's Strength is, the more damage he will deal when attacking with melee, firing arrows and throwing weapons. Strength does not participate in Torneko's defense.

Strength Variations

At the beginning of each Adventure Strength starts at 8 and can range between 1 - 8. It can be decreased when hit by Bigshroom's special ability, when hit by a Poison Arrow or when eating Moldy Bread. It can be recovered with an Antidote Herb.

The maximum Strength cap can be increased with a Strength Seed when at full Strength and a Strength Ring+3 as long as it's equipped. With these items, Strength can go up to 99. But maximum Strength can also be decreased by Voodoll's special ability.

	Chance Scroll	パルプンテの巻物	Two possible effects of the Chance Scroll are : • Fully recovers Strength. • Increases Max Strength by 3.
	Antidote Herb	毒けし草	Restores current Strength to its maximum.
	Strength Seed	ちからの種	Increases Strength by 1. If at max Strength, it increases Max Strength by 1.
	Scale Shield	うろこの盾	Prevents Bigshroom's special attack from lowering Strength.

• When negating the effect of Moldy Bread with an Antidote Ring, the game will states it blocked an attack.
