As the name says, this dungeon is focused on the use of the Traps against Monsters. This guide will cover some ways to clear this dungeon and successfully obtain its rewards.
General information
First, you start the dungeon with a Big Riceball and the Trap the Trap Strategy to know how to use this Armbands).
The goal is to reach floor 15 to get the Firebrand, and there are no shields until floor 90, where the special Karakuroid Shield may appear. Because of this, trying to fight monsters directly is not a very good idea in this dungeon. After floor 10, floating monsters will start to appear, which are completely invulnerable to traps, so you may want to skip these floors.
Strategy
You'll start being overwhelmed by monsters after floor 6 because you don't have access to shields. A good idea is to get as many Pitfall Traps as you can, either by searching them or reading a Scroll of Traps. Early Monster Houses are also a good way to stock up on traps, but on deep floors you may want to avoid monsters at any cost.
The idea to get Pitfall Traps is to skip the last five floors, where floating monsters appear. Of course, you should still collect a few Hunger or Rotten Traps for an emergency, and using Pitfall Traps constantly will drain your HP really fast. If your hit points are below 8, you should wait to recover a little because the Pitfall Trap may kill you. This is where those instant-kill traps get useful.
If you're planning to go to the 99 F goal, you must effectively use instant kill traps as well as traps that will grant you a lot of experience after killing a monster, such as Log Traps. You can also get a few Pitfall Traps to escape from monster houses.
