Ground debug is an unused menu in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. It is the debug menu used in "ground" areas (meaning outside of dungeons) and it leads to several smaller sub-menus. It can be accessed in the released game through hacking.

Note: Currently only tested in the European version of the game.

Debug camera

Inaccessible in the released game. Selecting it does nothing.

Pokémon Storage

This menu has three features: adding a Pokémon to the team at level 1 (chosen from a list with all species entries, including unused and special ones), see the list of all Pokémon in the team, and fill the team with the maximum amount of Pokémon that can be recruited.

Items and Money

"Bag" leads to submenus where categories of items can be chosen to fill the bell with, along with an option to empty the bag.

"Bag 2" shows a list of items, adding one at a time. Many unused items are available, but not all.

"Inventory" includes "Inventory max", which fills the Deposit Box with 999 of most items, an option to remove everything from the Deposit Box, and one to simply access the Deposit Box.

"Materials" lets you add up to 999 of any Material (including unused ones) directly to the Materials menu rather than the bag.

"Money", "Bank" and "Gold Bars" let you edit those values directly.

Change Hero/Partner

Lets you set the main character and parter to Tepig, Snivy, Oshawott, Pikachu or Axew. When done, a notice appears on the top screen instructing to reenter the area to see the changes.

Change Party

A simple party editing menu. Pokémon can be removed from the party, be made the leader, and recruited Pokémon can be added to the party. "Add Basic Set" adds a Golurk, a Braviary and a Conkeldurr.

Change Parameters

This menu is intended to change the current stats of each move in the game, but the changes aren't saved.

Position Capture

Unknown purpose. Selecting "Capture" displays a top screen notice that says "Capture failed...".

For Scriptwriters

Other

Skip to the next in-game day or reset the V-Wavecast. The latter doesn't seem to work.

Paradise Debug

Shop Test

This menu gives access to shops, services, Facilities, the multiplayer menu, main character and partner selection screens, team name menu, the dungeon entrance menu and some menus not seen in the regular game. Some don't work or crash the game. Treasure Shop is among those.

"Sample Shops" runs the function OpenExampleShopMenu(), which displays multiple texboxes with what seem to be yes/no answers. The partner has dialogue at some point. Most of the text uses Japanese characters that display as squares in the European version, so it needs to be tried in the Japanese version.

It also lets you increase your Paradise Rank and get the associated rewards. Nothing happens when selecting it at max rank.

This menu and its sub-menus are likely to crash.

Shop Debug

Sound Test

StreetPass Debug

Passerby Post debug

Menu Script Reload
