Special PCs
dumping special episode info; these appear to be based off of the set teams within these episodes.
Note: If fixed moves are off, additional moves are generated based on level (hence why you don't start with no moves on Bidoof). If there is no fixed HP value, HP is auto-generated based on level. Also, unknown recruit locations generally call different locations based on character; ??? recruit locations call the same location (0214).

Guest Pokémon
similar to the above; variations of story-required dungeon companions
Note: For now, joined-at locations are just indicated by their call numbers (ex: 214, 223, 218, etc). I'll add actual locations later. Also, these guests only appear while the dungeon is uncleared.

To-do List
just a list of things to do really, through the use of skytemple
- Create stat templates if they don't exist already
- Once ST (potentially) adds support for T/D, create T/D stat tables
- Dump portrait galleries
- Dump sprites (idles, attacks, etc)
- Attack, charge (? [n 1]), cringe, deep breath, eat, event sleeping (? [n 2]), faint, float, head, hit the ground, hop, hurt, idle, laying, leap forward, look up, lose balance, nod, pain, pose, pull, rotate, shake, shoot, sink, sit, sleeping, swing, trip, tumble (backward and forwards), wake, walk for starters/player and partner
- Attack, charge, double, hop, hurt, idle, rotate, shoot, sleep, strike, swing, walk for others
- Special animations for bosses, major characters (Wigglytuff, Grovyle, etc)
- Noted as (SP)
- Offsets and shadow animations will not be included, as that's just extra game data
- Add weight and body size notes for Grass Knot/Sizebust Orb
- In progress up to Wigglytuff (non-special)
- Compile recruit rates, IQ groups, abilities
- Finish exclusive items
- Note unused portraits, items, etc
- Add level-up moves, TMs, HMs, egg moves, 'mon categories
- Dump dungeon sprites & tilesets
- Screenshots in dungeons for dungeon pictures
- Note weather, item spawns, traps, level spawns, etc, in dungeons
- Identify pre-set Kecleon levels (for Kecleon bosses)
- Personality groups
- Boss stats, levels, etc
Notes
Technical Notes
- All data for Pokémon (minus actors/special characters) is stored on the Male/Genderless data. Female/Invalid data exists as "backup" in cases like Nidorina, etc. and is listed at $0600+
- The data appears to be duplicated between the two and seems to indicate that there are just different Pokémon called in dungeons for genders. For genderless Pokémon, Invalid exists as the Female backup.
- Special characters have their own placements in Pokémon, after all of the regular, non-special 'mons. They tend to only have their set gender (i.e. Grovyle only has Male data) due to them only having one set "actor." There are, however, some alternatives on different, close numbers. Some of this seems to be due to sprite data.
- The following are considered "special" characters in the game's data:
- Primal Dialga (has two data calls, presumably one for the regular story and one for special episodes)
- Decoy (same with above, probably for substitute vs decoy enemy)
- Kangaskhan Statue (also has two, most likely for saving only vs items and saving)
- Wigglytuff's shadow (?)
- Regigigas statue
- Bronzong statue
- Hitmonlee statue
- Guild members, including Chimecho, Wigglytuff, Sunflora, Diglett, Dugtrio, Corphish, Loudred, Bidoof, Chatot.
- For some reason, Sunflora is listed as male, and not female... this is different from the Nidos, who have female or male data only, but it's most likely just for actor data
- Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit
- Grovyle (two exist depending on the situation; one has the ropes)
- Dusknoir (there are actually three? probably similar case to Dialga)
- Sableye (Dusknoir's)
- Darkrai's shadow
- Wigglytuff's mama
- Not his dad, though... but that's just a male Wigglytuff, so they probably just dupe the data when calling for Special Episodes
- Sentret (special episode)
- Bellossom (special episode)
- Ironically, this isn't every special character. There's no Armaldo or Jirachi buried this far...
- With the release of ST 1.3, special episode player characters have been extracted. These include:
- Celebi
- Igglybuff
- Medicham
- Bidoof
- Sunflora
- Gardevoir
- Dusknoir
- Lopunny
- Grovyle
- Armaldo
- The release also revealed recruit locations as well as pre-set moves and levels, and if the moves, HP, and IQ were fixed. Info placed here.
- Also with ST 1.3 came information about Guest Pokémon. These appear to be different variations of story-required companions. This list includes:
- Banette
- Skorupi
- Snover (x2)
- Bidoof (like four of them?)
- Grovyle (also four of them?)
- Loudred
- Dusknoir
- Chatot
- Celebi
- Cresselia
- Shaymin
- Information on these has been placed in its own header as well, in a similar style to Special PCs. See here.
- Sprite IDs differ slightly if there are gender differences.
- There are a few movement types, most notably Normal, Hovering, Lava, and Water. This seems to affect what kinds of titles Pokémon can walk on
- All recruitable, non-special Pokémon have set personalities that affect what lines they say during dungeons, in the overworld, etc. There seem to be 17 regular personalities up to the special ones, which are reserved for the player, partner, etc.
- For some reason, probably due to sprite data, there are literally 28 Unowns. I'm gonna suggest keeping them all on one page due to this being due to form differences (they are not gendered in any way)
- There's a whole bunch of reserves and such in place, probably to be replaced with others like the player, partner, etc. They've all got negative sprite data and an impossible recruit rate. Have fun summoning those in dungeons, they'll all spawn as Dummy Pokémon with no moves or stats
