Gates:Gridless Floor

Gridless Floors are a type of floor in Gates to Infinity where Pokémon can walk freely without turns and without a grid. Sparkling Floors can occasionally be seen on the ground and the player can find hidden items by walking into them. Sometimes the player will need to solve simple puzzles to progress to the next floor the first time a gridless floor is visited. Enemy Pokémon walk around freely, and when a team member walks into one of them, a regular turn based battle begins and the grid appears. The game will stay turn based until all the nearby enemy Pokémon are defeated or the player walks off the end of the grid. In a gridless floor, the leader can't be changed.
