The Top Menu (Japanese: トップメニュ, Top Menu) is the first menu the player sees every time 
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky is launched. The Top Menu opens right after the title screen.

Icons
Top menu icons are small pictures that appear when certain goals are met to track the player's progress. They are displayed on the bottom screen in the continue confirmation screen showing the current progress.

Background art
Each time the top menu gets loaded, the game randomly selects one of seven different illustrations to display on the bottom screen. The user interface is hidden while L is pressed so that the art can be admired in full.
Trivia
- The menu with Phanpy, Shinx, Skitty, Eevee, Riolu and Vulpix was used for the Explorers of Sky Pokémon Center demo.
