Deranger (Japanese: きめんどうし) is a monster in Super Famicom Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon(UT) - This is an unofficial translation..

Combat Strategy

Derangers have the ability to warp Torneko to a random room on the floor. They can only use this ability at melee range, and while there is a very low chance that they might warp Torneko into the middle of a Monster Lair(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. on the floor, this ability is usually more beneficial than harmful. If you allow a Deranger to teleport you around, you can more efficiently explore floors, or more easily find the stairs. In the Mysterious Dungeon,(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. when returning to the entrance with the happiness box,(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. the warp effect is even more useful for avoiding encounters and finding the stairs forward.
