Abilities, (Japanese: ???) also called Night Abilities or Techniques in different parts of the game's UI, are special attacks. They are usable if a dungeon is at night time, and only against the night variant of a Monster.

Ability Power Description How to learn

Mine! Mine! Mine! A Attacks a monster and steals its aura. You have it from the start.
Sticky Shot A Attacks a monster in a straight line from distance and inflicts paralyzed status if it survives. The low grade master teaches it to you.
Kaboom Bullet S A powerful shot that do ~100 damage to the first monster in a straight line. Use Sticky Shot until you learn it.
Electrocute A Zap a monster in front. If there are other monsters near, they will also take damage. The more monsters, the stronger the power. Reach level 16.
Concussive Cannon B Unloads a wave of energy 3 spaces wide. The wave will penetrate walls. Reach level 24
Self-Help It gives you fast HP regeneration rate. Level up (randomly)
Chakra Cleanse Removes status ailments. Reach level 29
Beacon of Light Makes you able to read scrolls at night. Reach level 55.
Stairlight Locates the stairs. High Grade master teaches it to you.
Reflecto Reflects direct damage for 1 turn. High Grade Master teaches it to you.
Death-go-round B Creates a vortex of energy around you that attacks monsters. The more monsters, the stronger the attack. Level up (randomly)

Dicey Distractor B Creates a vortex around you that attacks monsters and puts them into afraid status. Level up (randomly)
Onigiri Bonanza B Creates a vortex that attacks monsters and puts them into onigiri status. Level up (randomly)
Room Sealant C Creates pillars of energy that strike the monsters of a room and put them into sealed status. Low Grade Master teaches it to you.
HP Divider Summons pillars of energy that halves HP of monsters in the room. Low grade Master teaches it to you.
Injury to insult B Summons pillars of energy that attack monsters in the room and do extra damage to those that have status ailments. Use HP Divider until you learn it.
Room Cyclone B Creates a large vortex that attacks all monsters in a room. Medium Grade Master teaches it to you.
Darkroom C Creates a large vortex that attacks all monsters in a room and puts them into blind status. Use Room Cyclone until you learn it.
Pot Party C Creates pillars of energy that attack monsters in the room and put them into Hiding status. High Grade Master teaches it to you.
Room Healing Flash Creates pillars of energy that heals you and your allies to full HP. Medium Grade Master teaches it to you.
Pyrrhic Piercer Fires off an energy blast that pierces monsters (but not walls). Reduces target’s HP to 1 but halves your own HP. Low Grade Master teaches it to you.
Crawling Confusion Attracts monsters to you into confused status. Medium Grade Master teaches it to you.
Ally Launcher S Propels and ally and sends them flying forward damaging monsters. Medium Grade Master teaches it to you.
Bi-Directional Blast B Launches an energy blast forwards and backwards at the same time. High Grade Master teaches it to you.
Last Stand Destroys all monsters in a floor or kills you. Beginner grade master teaches it to you.
Jack in the Box Chooses a random ability from the list, including Last Stand. Finish the Night Tutorial Dungeon.
Staccato Wave C Deals around 25 damage to a monster but can be used infinitely without wasting it. Clear the Quest at Sage’s village.
Transmogrification Transforms a monster into an item (No exp). Reach the end of Inori Cave with all 7 cat stones and select the proper wish.
Three Screams Fires 3 blasts of energy in front of you killing monsters instantly (No exp). Reach level 99.
