The Golden City houses the entrance to a second Mystery Dungeon,  the {{Shiren|Tainted Path}. The {{Shiren|Tainted Insect}} came and ate all of the gold, trapping the Golden Condor for hundreds of years, after which, the Golden City atop Table Mountain became a legend, as few were brave or capable enough to reach the top.

Table Mountain (Japanese: Japanese name here) is a cylindrical shaped mountain located in Kobami Valley in the Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series.

The interior of the mountain is a Mystery Dungeon, with an Underground Stream Village located within.

Atop Table Mountain is Amteca, The Golden City, a city previously protected by Riva, The God of Fate and The Golden Condor. The Golden City houses the entrance to a second Mystery Dungeon, the Tainted Path.
