Water (Japanese: 水) is a Special Tile in Etrian Mystery Dungeon that prevents the player and most monsters from walking on it. Its appearance changes from dungeon to dungeon and within dungeons. The player can walk on water by using the Skills Water Walk or Water Beetle or by equipping River Tabi. An item that falls on water will remains in the water but can be picked up by a player able to walk on water. If a monster that cannot walk on water falls on a water tile, it will be teleported on ground elsewhere.
