Moves (Japanese: わざ) are actions done by Pokémon that are primarily centered around, but not limited to, combat in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. They made their debut in Game Boy Advance/Nintendo DS Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team in 2005.

Throughout the series, Pokémon are seen using moves not only in combat, but also as displays of power. It's not always clear which moves are being used, if any, such as when Blastoise of Team Hydro fires off his cannons at the end of the video game incarnation of the Rescue Team Scenario. In some cases, Pokémon attack each other directly without moves, such as when Team A.C.T. attacks Team Pokémon directly while at Mt. Freeze.
