Decrepit Old Man (Japanese: ???) is a character in  Mystery Dungeon 2: Shiren the Wanderer. He is met in ^{[Research required]} floors of the dungeon Table Mountain. He is training to become a Shinto priest by trying to learn a purification spell, but it is too hard for him until the player throws him a Purify Scroll (or a Blank Scroll with the scribe "Purify"). After this is done, he removes curses when he's spoken to.

If the player selects Yes without having a cursed item equipped: "Decrepit Old Man cast a But nothing happened."

If the player selects No: "What? You're OK? Idiot! Why aren't you cursed! The next time you come see me, make sure you're cursed when you do!"
