What it does
When confused, yellow stars appear above your head. If you attempt to move or attack while Confused, you will have no control over the direction it occurs in. However, items such as Staves and Arrows will still shoot in the direction you are facing, so it is possible to continue combat using these items while confused by turning Shiren to face the direction of the enemies.
