Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Inspiration and References are noticeable in Template:GameTitle.
Gameplay
- Kokatsu Shiren, Tatsumi Shiren, and Koppa have four abilities that are similar to Moves in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon.
- Version 1.1.0 introduces the ability to challenge the dungeons as every regular monster in the game.
Story
- Dialogue during the Kokatsu Story Arc is similar to dialogue in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon.
- Before entering the Dune of Batsu, Koppa's dialogue in Japanese is nearly word for word the same as the Partner's before entering Quicksand Cave in Template:GameTitle and Template:GameTitle.[1]
Music
- Although not necessarily a direct reference, Shiren 6 is the first Shiren game where the soundtrack is composed by Keisuke Ito, the main composer of the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series starting with Explorers of Time and Darkness.
- noisycroak also worked on the game's sound effects. Hideki Sakamoto is credited as sound supervisor.[2]
