Template:GameTitle takes inspiration from Template:GameTitle and even Chunsoft's earlier work on the main Dragon Quest series.
Dragon Quest III
- The Personality Test originates from Chunsoft's Dragon Quest III, in which the player also takes a personality test at the beginning of the game.[1]
Torneko 2
- Like Torneko 2, Rescue Team consists of multiple dungeons that are unlocked by progressing the story and can be accessed from a menu, rather than a single main dungeon and some bonus dungeons like previous games.
- Completing dungeons in Torneko 2 rewards with decorative Statues that are placed in Torneko's home. This is similar to the Statues placed outside the Rescue Team Base.
Torneko 3
- Torneko 3 features recruitment mechanics similar to those later found in Rescue Team.
