The Baby Tengu (Japanese: 小僧天狗) monster family is a recurring group of four monsters in the Shiren the Wanderer series. It made its debut in Template:GameTitle in 1995, making it one of the Original Monster Families.

The Baby Tengu Family consists of:

  1. Baby Tengu (Japanese: 小僧天狗)
  2. Young Tengu (Japanese: カラス天狗)
  3. Tengu Chief (Japanese: 天狗師匠)
  4. Tengu Elder (Japanese: 天狗開祖)

Biography

Characteristics

Physical Appearance

Baby Tengu Family Monsters are small, stubby creatures covered in thick white hair. As the name suggests they bare a large resemblance to Tengu (Japanese: 天狗) yokai in Japanese folklore, wielding a hauchiwa (Japanese: 羽団扇) "feathered fan", and wearing a long-nosed mask and traditional wooden footwear, geta (Japanese: 下駄).
