Paralysed (Japanese: ???) is a Status Condition in Template:GameTitle. It can only affect monsters.

Duration

The Paralysed status is permanent until it gets interrupted.

Effect

When Paralysed monsters are unable to act in any way. Their sprites are visibly frozen.

Paralysis Special Ability

Legerdeman, Demonite and Ice Sloth always spawn Paralysed. This type of paralysis is exactly the same as the regular one. The only exception is Ice Sloth having a unique wake up condition if another Ice Sloth that's part of its spawn squad is woken up.

How to get affected

  • Use a Numb Scroll on a tile adjacent to the monsters. All adjacent tiles will be affected for a maximum of 8 Paralyzed monsters at once.

How to cure

  • Any melee attack, projectiles thrown and staff waved will interrupt the paralysis status.
  • For Ice Sloth, having another Ice Sloth that's part of its spawn squad get woken up.

Interactions with other status conditions

  • The Paralysed status replaces the Asleep status. It will stack with any other status condition.
  • The Paralysed status will freeze the Confused status duration. Once this status ends, the timer will starts again normally.

Gameplay tips

  • Paralyse the monster at the entrance of a Monster House to deal safely with the others on the left and right diagonal tiles with Arrows and Staves.
  • Paralysed monsters can be used to strategically block hallways.

Trivia

  • Although Torneko can't be Paralysed, his sprite animations while Asleep are used when under this status. This is visible when affected by the Misled status, where monsters use Torneko's sprite.
