Frosty Forest (Japanese: 樹氷の森, Frosty Forest) is a Template:Rescue Team DX in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. It is unlocked after finishing Mt. Blaze.

Plot

After exiting through the mountain of fire that is Mt. Blaze, the player and their partner are wandering through the snow, and come across Frosty Forest. The partner marvels at the forest that had been completely frozen over. They then head over to the entrance of Frosty Forest, and like Mt. Blaze, the player is given the choice of choosing either the Snow Path or Frosty Forest. Choosing the Snow Path would result in the player and partner going in a circle and ending up where they began, giving the player no choice but to enter Frosty Forest. After traveling through the various levels of Frosty Forest and Heart of the Frosty Forest, the player and partner reach the final floor, where Articuno resides. Articuno voices its anger over the fact that the ice in the forest is melting, and blames the player for it all. It then engages the player and partner in a boss battle, in which it is defeated. However, it is still persistent in that the player is the cause of the dilemma, and refuses to let them pass. They are then interrupted by Absol, who assures Articuno that the player is not the cause for the ice melting. Articuno then lets the player and partner through, and they head on.
