Unanswered Lore Questions in the Dragon Quest Mystery Dungeon series.
General
Is it canon to the Shiren the Wanderer series?
While the Dragon Quest Mystery Dungeon games are canon to the mainline Dragon Quest series; the Torneko trilogy to Dragon Quest IV and Young Yangus to Dragon Quest VIII, there have been a few references and cameos between this and the Shiren the Wanderer series. For example, Gaibara and Saruyama appear in Template:Torneko2, or the second game in the Mystery Dungeon franchise barring the number "2" in its title, serving as an indirect sequel of Torneko's Great Adventure: Mystery Dungeon.
