This template's goal is to make linking to Gates anime pages in the Pokémon namespace quicker and cleaner.

{{PkmnGA|Pikachu}}

will result in:
Pikachu

As opposed to:

[[Pkmn:Pikachu (character - Gates anime)|Pikachu]]
{{Pkmn|Pikachu (character - Gates anime)|Pikachu}}

will result in:
Pikachu
Pikachu
