Draft:Shiren 5 Vita:Rush Shield Type

The Rush Shield family of Shields was introduced in Shiren 5. It bears the Offensive rune, which makes the shield's power add to Attack instead of Defense. This effect is static, and there are no other runes gained from leveling the shield up. The Rush Shield family resonates with the Extreme Sword Type of swords, allowing two bracelets to be equipped at once.
Tips for use
This shield is rather pointless, since the rune effect doesn't improve as it levels up. Its only unique attribute as a base is resonating with the Extreme Sword family, but the Extreme Sword needs a good defense more than it needs the extra bracelet, and if you are sacrificing your defense for attack you want to hit.
It would make more sense to put the Offensive rune on a more powerful shield, such as the Red Shield Type which also allows two bracelets, but the rune is still very risky to use and requires a change in playstyle. Any shield with this rune should also have the Diurnal, Bit, Agile, and Costly runes to help reduce or avoid damage.
Alternatively, it's much less risky to use the rune on the Daytime Queen or the Gitan Ravager (the final forms of the Day Shield and Pauper's Plank respectively). Their enhanced Diurnal and Costly rune effects significantly reduce damage taken, so it's not such a bad trade-off.
