The Night counterpart family is the Dark Grass Kid Family. After a Grass Kid monster uses up its grass, it transforms into the corresponding Pin Kid Family monster:
The Grass Kid family monsters can throw grass at you if you are in a straight line as it, and when they are out of grass they will turn into the corresponding Pin Kid family monsters.
The Pin Kid family monsters move at double speed and run from you (if they can see you), but will attack if you are adjacent. They can pick up grass on the floor and turn into the corresponding Grass Kid family monsters. Pin Poppa and Pin Gramps can also regenerate grass by themselves.
When defeated, Grass Kid family monsters always drop the grass(es) they were holding.
The level 3 and 4 forms of these monsters can be farmed for grass. This is best done in dungeons where the most dangerous grasses do not appear, such as Underground Manor and Pitfall of Life.
