The Crow Tengu (Japanese: カラス天狗) Monster Family in /
Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate (2020) consists of:
The Night counterpart family is the Bad Crow Tengu Family.
A Tengu will imitate another monster that appears on the floor. It retains its own stats and movement pattern.
You can tell a monster is a Tengu if it moves in a way it normally does not. For example, a Polygon Spinna that doesn't teleport to you in an open room is a Tengu, so is a Poofy that moves at normal speed. Any non-floating monster above water is a Tengu. A Tengu reverts to itself when it dies or is sealed.
In some dungeons, Tengus can appear on the same floors as Mixers. To test if a Mixer is actually a Tengu, either lead it above water, or throw a test item and see if it gets swallowed. Make sure the test item does not interfere with your recipe, and count the remaining slots correctly.
