The Absorbiphant (Japanese: すいだすゾウ) Monster Family in  Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate consists of:

1. Absorbiphant (Japanese: すいだすゾウ)
2. Digestiphant (Japanese: とりこむゾウ)
3. Spongiderm (Japanese: くみこむゾウ)
4. Osmammoth (Japanese: ひきこむゾウ)

The Night counterpart family is the Dark Absorbiphant Family.

Combat Strategy

An Absorbiphant will heal all monsters around it, including itself, and you, of any status ailments, healing itself and gaining attack power in the process. Being surrounded by Absorbiphants and other monsters is dangerous, as many common ways to deal with swarms involve status ailments. (e.g. Confusion Scroll, Sleep Talisman)

Be careful if your weapon has a status-inflicting effect. After healing off status a few times, an Absorbiphant can deal a high amount of damage by itself.

Even though Tinkerer (from Upgrade Seed) is a beneficial effect, an Absorbiphant will still drain it from you. (Does this apply to Super, other buffs you get while Super, or any other beneficial effect?)
