How to Use (and Abuse) Rescue Passwords (JP Wii only):

When you request a rescue via password, the password remains viable for all users indefinitely, even if you've already been rescued. Also, everyone who attempts a rescue experiences the same dungeon layout (for all floors except the last floor) as the player who requested the rescue. By taking advantage of these two facts, players working together can create repeatable runs for rare treasure that can be used by the entire community. When one player finds a run with one or more valuable items, they travel one extra floor, die intentionally, request rescue via password, and from then on, every other member of the Shiren community can use that password up to 5 times each or until they perform the rescue. Thus, everyone in the community can get a copy of these rare item(s), and the original player doesn't even have to lose their game, they can get rescued and keep their own copy of the loot, too.

Exclusive content

Rescues done on the Wii version of Shiren 3 can also be used to obtain rescue points which allow you to get free items in  Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer DS2 - Magic Castle of the Desert, see: Shiren 3 Wii Connectivity.

Rescue Information.

When undertaking a rescue from the top menu you will be left in the Shop, Bank, Storage. You'll have access to the bank and storage but the shopkeeper and Character's will not be around. When you leave the building you'll be presented with 2 options.
