The villagers all show up to confront the thugs. Kumaji berates his son and the villagers negotiate the return of Catherine. Upon being released, Kasuke calls her name and rushes over when Sukegoro asks him what he just called her. The boss finds out that Catherine is his long-lost granddaughter. He talks about a falling out he had with his son 10 years before and talks about how his son and daughter-in-law left with their daughter 10 years before. Catherine refuses to believe that her grandfather would be a kidnapper and turns her back on him. The Inobuta boss declares the Hourai Hawaiian Land officially off and retires to the village to be with his granddaughter. He disbands the Inobuta clan and we learn his real name. Sukegoro. Sukegoro asks his granddaughter for her forgiveness and thanks to the villagers for taking care of her. The villagers welcome him and leave.
