Shiren:Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 5: "Sweet Nut" Trial Version

Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 5: "Sweet Nut" Trial Version (Japanese: 不思議のダンジョン 風来のシレン 5 「あまぐりん」 体験版) was an Adobe Flash-based game originally playable on the blog run by Shiren 5 DSs game director, Yoriki Daigo (Japanese: 醍醐 頼希). The game director stated on the blog that he was a fan of the monster in the game and asked the Public Relations people to make the trial version. This was also likely due in part to his self-proclaimed love of math.

Gameplay

The game features 2 modes (Japanese: エンドレス モード), (English: Endless Mode) and (Japanese: 三択モード), (English: Three-Choice Mode) .

Endless Mode

Endless mode features a item or Gitan bag in the bottom left corner. You have two options, select the item to throw at the Sweet Nut or attack it. If the next item you throw would have resulted in an explosion, you could tweet and if it wouldn't have resulted in an explosion, you can't tweet. Above the Sweet Nut is #回 or number of successful item tosses.

Endless Mode: Failure

Whether or not you lose or attack the Sweet Nut, you'll be presented with three options.

1. やり直す。
   • Start over.
2. 終っする。
   • Main menu.
3. つぶやく。
   • Tweet.

Endless Mode: Gallery

Three-Choice Mode

Three-Choice Mode initially features three weapons and the text at top "1倍". With each successful item thrown, the experience will double. However, one of the three items is guaranteed to cause an explosion.

Three-Choice Mode: Failure

When choosing the wrong item in Three-Choice Mode, the same menu options as seen in Endless Mode. The failure screen will display the message "記録", Record and #倍, displaying the number of points you've accumulated.
