Rescue Team:Saying Farewell to Pokémon

MDFW - The Mystery Dungeon Tree of Information.
Jump to navigation Jump to search

"Say Farewell" is the command given when the Team Leader wants the target Pokémon to leave the team forever. Pokémon that are given this command will disappear from the team forever, unlike "Stand By" which only commands the target Pokémon to stay in its Friend Areas. Legendary Pokémon that are dismissed can be fought and recruited again with the exceptions of Latias and Latios

Methods

There is only one method for giving this command. However, there is a second way for Pokémon that have just been recruited and are not considered full members of the team yet.

First method

Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4

Recruit a Pokémon in a dungeon. Select their name in the menu and find the farewell option. Select yes. They'll be dismissed from the team permanently.

This only works in dungeons. Beware that the Items of the target Pokémon will be lost. Note that they'll become permanent members and you'll have to use the second method to dismiss them from this point onward. Selecting this option for a full team member will only send them home.

Second method

This works for all Pokémon except the Hero and the Partner, neither of which can ever be dismissed.

Step 1 Step 2 Step 3

On September 11, 2019, the Gamepedia Shiren the Wanderer Wiki became the Gamepedia Mystery Dungeon Wiki. As part of the unification project between Fandom and Gamepedia, we absorbed the Rescue Team Wiki and its page histories. Some pages were originally deemed unworthy of being imported and were left behind. We've since imported them with the intent to preserve the edits and history of this community and its contributions, as well as to build upon them. In some cases, these pages have been created again by editors of the MDFW, and the Rescue Team page histories were imported into them at a later date. You can check if this is the case by visiting the page's history.
