Mystery Dungeon Franchise Wiki:Projects (Game Pages)

Project: Pages describing games need to be reformatted, moved, merged and split as needed. Repetitions need to be reduced. Related navboxes need to be reformatted.

Proposal: The pages and their navboxes are confusing. In some cases they are hard to tell apart from one another, some pages are unnecessarily split, and others lack good separation between remakes and rereleases. Some disambiguation pages make things even more confusing. Navboxes need to be reworked to show remakes as individual games rather than rereleases.

• List of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Books Guide Books and Full Release Timeline are stubs.
• Old links (both from this update and much older updates) all across the site need to be updated. Pages of individual releases (example: Pkmn:Explorers of Time) need to be turned into redirects to the game's page with an anchor (#) to that particular release (example Pkmn:Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky#Explorers of Time-0).
• Appearances templates for games, and other media if applicable, need to be created or updated.

Solution comments: Game articles need to be merged (excluding remakes, which we treat as separate games with their own ports/rereleases), also eliminating the need for disambiguation pages. New template for game articles. Is there a way to link both tabs together, so that when a specific version of a game is linked, the page automatically displays the relevant info? If we can't, it might be better to only tab infoboxes.

If we do use tabbed navboxes, then we should make them expanded by default.

Updated the PMD and EMD media lore list pages to use the new lore list page formatting similar to List of Weapons and other similar pages (mostly, some pages aren't fully updated yet). Also merged the main pages of games with multiple releases, and split RTDX.
