Notes

  • Unlike most of the Japanese-only titles in the series, Shiren 4 item names are based off of Shiren 5. Jubilee (talk) 07:23, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
  • Bold names don't have an official English translation.
  • I don't believe this table is anywhere near done. We had item names the Japanese source wiki didn't list and Vice Versa. Other Japanese Shiren 4 wikis need to be looked up to finish the weapons table and possibly other items. Jubilee (talk) 10:03, 23 April 2019 (UTC)

  • In Shiren 4, it isn't really worth raising up a Katana or Kabura Katana to turn into a Fuuma Sword or Kaburagi. The main advantage of these weapons is their high base attack, but after upgrading it becomes weaker than the +99 katana it was before. You can't enhance it to be stronger until you raise it all the way to max level, which takes much more EXP than any other weapon. In Shiren 4, these weapons are less special when other max-level weapons also can be upgraded to +99 and have more powerful innates and resonances, and the true "strongest" weapon in Shiren 4 is Kamina's Sword. The only reason to obtain the Fuuma Sword or Kaburagi is if you want to complete the item book in Shiren 4, since not even Borg Mamel requires them.
  • When you obtain the Sturdy Hammer, don't do anything with it, except tag it and keep it in storage. Leveling up Borg Mamel requires its base form, but it can only reliably be obtained once in single-player. If you meld it into another weapon, or even level it up to a Plain Hammer, you are locked out of getting Borg Mamel to max level, and obtaining a True Knife. It must be tagged so that you can get it back after giving it to Borg Mamel. After that, you can do whatever you want with it, unless you want to level up Borg Mamel again.
