Comments or Open Questions?
What's the difference between the functionality of a "comment" and an "open question"? When should I use the "comment" function and when should I leave it as an "open question"?67.188.12.20 22:02, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- I prefer using the talk pages for long-term storage. I think it's fine to allow editors notes for these pages that are still being filled out. But pages that are closer to a complete stage should make a topic on the talk page.Jubilee (talk) 22:54, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- By editor's notes, do you mean the open questions at the bottom of the page? Where does the purpose of <--Comments--> overlap in this? 67.188.12.20 23:01, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- The editors notes at the bottom of pages is how we used to do things. We've been in the process of moving those to talk pages, such as the Borg Mamel talk page for Shiren 1 DS and very few pages remain that have notes which we allow to stay. I was referring to the comments mid-article, such as this one as editors notes since it's a work in progress page.Jubilee (talk) 23:14, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
