Zoso the Robot
(Japanese: 人形) can be bought in town for 500 Gitan from the very beginning. After talking to the Characters in Robot Shop in town (top-left building), finish/abandon an adventure and talk to them again.

Zoso as a party member:
Zoso has low strength, but shoots arrows. Has two forms of leveling up. First, you can buy an upgraded form on each new adventure, up to a maximum level of 10. Second, you can keep a model alive for a certain number of floors and return it to the shop to get it upgraded for free. If Zoso dies, however, he'll return to the Zenmaiger model. If you succeed in leveling it up to the maximum, you will gain an entry in the Adventure Log, congratulations!
