Shiren 1 DS:Blastwave Scroll

The Blastwave Scroll (Japanese: 真空切りの巻物) is a scroll introduced to the Super Famicom release of Shiren 1. Reading this scroll will damage all enemies in your current room. If there are no enemies in the room, the effect will be wasted. Using a Blastwave Scroll in a hallway will deal damage only to enemies that are within a 3x3 area around Shiren.

Using the scroll by itself (without using any Power Up Scrolls), has shown to deal 21-37 damage to enemies.

Tips for use

• Can easily weaken all enemies in a Monster House, reading Power Up Scrolls prior can further increase damage.
• When read in a hallway, only Monsters within a 1 square radius of Shiren will be damaged, even Ghost-type Monsters in walls.

Things to Avoid

• Reading a Blastwave Scroll in a Shop will damage the Shopkeeper who will target and can easily kill Shiren.
