Traps (Japanese: 罠) are found on the floors and cause various effects when tripped. They cannot be seen unless stepping on them, or swinging with a weapon over them. Normally, Monsters will not be affected by traps.

Explosion Trap | Stepping on this trap triggers a huge explosion. Its damage extends to other Pokémon, items, and walls. It has a bigger range than a Selfdestruct Trap. | ||

Mud Trap | Stepping on this trap makes it blow mud that lowers the Pokémon's Attack, Defense, Special Attack or Special Defense by one level. | ||

PP-Zero Trap | Stepping on this trap completely drains the PP of a random move. | ||
Seal Trap | Stepping on this disables one of the Pokémon's moves as long as it remains on the same floor. | ||

Slow Trap | Stepping on this trap lowers the Pokémon's Movement Speed by one level. | ||
Slumber Trap | Stepping on this trap releases a sleeping gas that puts the Pokémon to sleep. | ||
