About This Page

A member of the Shiren community known online as spekode discovered and shared the rescue password generation algorithm on GitHub.[1] When the Shiren community was becoming less and less active, Shiren1111 who had previously expressed interest in making a web version of the password generator[2] worked with marsweasel and eventually hosted it on a personal site.[3] Due to widget support, the rescue password generator has been embedded into the wiki and is now fully functional.[4]
