Version differences: Each game has version exclusive Pokémon, items and more. However, using Wonder Mail the player can unlock various version exclusives in their respective game where they will appear in their normal spawn locations.

Note: While Combee is exclusive to Explorers of Time, its evolution, Vespiquen, is available in Explorers of Darkness.
Version Exclusive Items
- Vile Seed: Reduces the Defense and Special Defense stats when eaten.
- Foe-Hold Orb: Afflicts all enemies in the room with the Petrified status condition.
- Sun Ribbon: An item used to evolve Pokémon that would evolve during the daytime in the core games (such as Riolu).
