Friend Gifts are a category of items in Gates to Infinity. When used inside a dungeon while facing an unevolved enemy Pokémon, they allow the player to recruit said Pokémon without defeating them in a battle. There is a Gift for every first stage or single stage non-legendary Pokémon species that can be encountered in a dungeon, as well as a Gift for each Pokémon Type. The Premier Gift also works with any unevolved Pokémon regardless of the target's Type or species. Species specific Gifts can be created at the Gift Shop in Post Town by giving Cinncino the requied money and some items that the Pokémon likes.
