Shiren 1 DS:Rustless Armband

Template:Infobox Armbands (Shiren 1) The Rustless Armband (Japanese: サビよけの腕輪) is an armband introduced in the Super Famicom release of Shiren 1. Wearing a Rustless Armband will protect Shiren's weapons and shields from having their power reduced by being rusted. This ability is a little more focused than other armbands, as it only covers two situations in this game. It will greatly assist you when dealing with Green and Purple Slime's as you won't have to use any items on them now, and is a decent option for generally walking around if you wish to ignore Rusty Traps specifically. Outside of these two situations, there is nothing else in the game that can rust your equipment. So the usefulness of this armband is limited compared to other armbands.

It is important to remember that the Grey and Red Slime's ability to remove seals from your equipped swords and shields is not prevented by this armband. If your equipment lacks any seals to lose, then this armband still helps against their regular rusting ability.

Tips for use

All together, Rustless Armbands protect against:

• Rusty Traps.
• Rusting attacks from the Green Slime family of monsters (although not the seal-removing attacks from Grey and Red Slimes)

Rustless Armband is one of the few positive armbands in the game whose effect is not included in any "rescue reward" armbands.
